MOJO have helped display, exhibition and large-format graphics company, Aurora, to promote their products and servicing using a mailshot that combines a high-tech contemporary communication format with traditional puzzles. At the start of June, selected Aurora clients received a specially-made pack of tiles and a frame to fit them into. The square tiles formed a sudoko-type puzzle, behind which was printed a series of black and white shapes. When the tiles were arranged correctly, these shapes formed a QR code, a form of graphiccode which can be scanned using a smartphone with a barcode scanner app. Scanning the image automatically linked the user to Aurora's website, and in particular to a video of Aurora staff assembling a gigantic version of the puzzle to demonstrate their large-format product offering. The mailer has been received well by recipients who found it just challenging enough to be fun without wasting work-time. Aurora were happy with the way this MOJO idea embraced technology and captured the interest of the people they sent it to.
