MOJO, in partnership with photographers SM2 have been commissioned to produce yearbooks for a Staffordshire school. The Alleyne's School Yearbook Committee, made up of staff and students, selected the team to design a stylish pictorial record for the future. The book is much more exciting than the yearbooks many schools currently produce, featuring relaxed photography of students in lessons throughout the year, taken in a modern, reportage style. Creative direction and graphic were provided throughout by Matt at MOJO and students at the school got involved in adding their own content. Emma Mayor, a teacher at Alleyne's said "The yearbook looks amazing, our students love the photography and design. It was really good to see students getting involved and learning creative and project management skills I'd definitely recommend other schools get the team in, it's a great experience for students and a superb end result" The Alleyne's book is a pilot project for similar schemes to be offered to interested schools around the Midlands from September, with the intention of rolling the model out across the UK in 2010. |
